FYI, 'debug.acpi.quirks' was committed very recently:

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/acpica/acpi.c.diff?r1=1.199&r2=1.200

If you want to try 'debug.acpi.quirks' tunable, don't forget to cvs up 
or patch it first.
