My point was that when running the new usb stack usbdevs does this: trouble% usbdevs trouble% usbdevs -v usbdevs: no USB controllers found while usbconfig does this: trouble% usbconfig ugen0.1: at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.1: at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen2.1: at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=ON ugen2.2: at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen2.3: at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=LOW (1.5Mbps) pwr=ON ugen2.4: at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=LOW (1.5Mbps) pwr=ON ugen2.5: at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON None of these match the existing behaviour of usbdevs w/ the current stack and we will need that when we switch the default stack to avoid breaking 3rd party scripts that parse the output.
