As 3.3 is scheduled for mid-September, it may be possible for 3.4 to be out before but I wouldn't count on it. > RELENG2_2 ? I imagine quite a few people still use the 2.2 branch I don't run either STABLE or 2.2 and the changes are too big to be backported, I'm afraid.
