Hello everyone! I am trying to install FreeBSD-Current via FTP onto a
Pentium 90 system with 16 megs (scarey I know..) and a western digital
1.6Gb drive. I am going to use the system for FreeBSD only. When I try to
install I go into the visual settings page and clear out all the conflicts
and configure my network cards etc. While I am installing from FTP I get
error messages on console 2 (eg ALT-F2..) The errors look like:

wd0s1f: soft error reading fsbn 1703985 of 1703984-1703995 (wd0s1 bn
2523185; cn 157 tn 15 sn 35)wd0: status 58<rdy,seekdone,drq> error
1<no_dam>

as well as:

wd0s1f: hard error reading fsbn 1703991 of 1703984-1703995 (wd0s1 bn
2523191; cn 157 tn 15 sn 41)wd0: status 59<rdy,seekdone,drg,err> error 40
<uncorr>

	I am getting tonnes of these things and obviously the install
isn't going too well. Does anyone have an idea as to what is causing this?
Right now I am guessing that something is wrong with the drives, but I
have checked settings and soforth and can't seem to find anything really
wrong. I would apreciate any help people could supply! Thanks!
