It turns out that Apple and Microsoft defined RFC #3397 very recently,
which provides the necessary functionality.  I've always thought that
concatenating the domains together with spaces was a bit of a hack,
given that none of the docs officially sanctioned the practice.

Not sure about ISC's plans to support it.
