I'm trying to install dummynet to do bandwidth throttling with 3.0-Release. I've run the patch off of /cdrom/xperiment/dummynet/patchfile and added the options IPFIREWALL, options DUMMYNET, and options IPFIREWALL_DEFAULT_TO_ACCEPT to the kernel, but when I try to do an 'ipfw add pipe 1' I get an error saying that 'pipe is an invalid action. Obviously I'm missing something, but the man pages are cryptic at best. Thanks in advance for your help. --Damon **************************************** Damon Hammis Systems Engineer Verio (734) 762-6000 dhammis@verio.net **************************************** "Nice boy, but about as sharp as a sack of wet mice." -- Foghorn Leghorn To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
