I like that idea. I'll add it to my CVSup to-do list. In the past, we've considered renaming cvsup.freebsd.org to cvsup1.freebsd.org. Then we would give cvsup.freebsd.org 3 DNS entries, one for each of the three US mirrors. This would have more or less the same effect. However, for various reasons, I've shied away from this approach. For one thing, we would have to make sure that all 3 mirrors carried exactly the same collections, or it would cause problems.
