I have X 3.3.4 and an AGP SiS 6326 running under FreeBSD 3.2 and apart from having a really poor monitor it works. I can get 1024x768 in 24 bit, provided I don't mind having poor refresh rates and the like. You just can't use the graphical set up utility I believe, but the XFree86 SVGA driver will recognise the card.
