Forgot to mention, it's a ASUS CUV4x board + 196 PC100 RAM + 650mhz PIII
running on a few minutes ago's 4.1-stable,
Could it be the via 694x chipset? Ofcourse, as soon as it switchs to PIO mode,
it'd be fine... but i really want to take the advantage
of the ata/66 disk...

any hints?

Thanks
