With this code in my kernel I get:

ath0: unable to reset hardware; hal status 0
ioctl[SIOCS80211, op 23, arg 0x0] : Invalid argument
Failed to initiate AP scan.
ath0: unable to reset hardware; hal status 14
ioctl[SIOCS80211, op 23, arg 0x0] : Invalid argument
Failed to initiate AP scan.

when I try to use wpa_supplicant with the code. My home network uses
WPA.

Best,
George
