Hello,

Have succesfully installed PPP and is working fine in root however, when
logged in as a user cannot
get PPP to start i get the following

% ppp
Working in interactive mode
No tunnel device is available (Permission denied)
Warning: OpenTunnel : No such device or directory

I have changed permissions on /dev/tun0 from crw------- to crw-rw----
and have added the user to the group dialer in /etc/groups however it
still does not work. Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

regards

guy
