After too little time to do much with the vfatfs, I've just recently gone on leave, and will be looking at putting together a release in the next few weeks. I haven't run any benchmarks but the design is more similar to the Mach dosfs than the msdosfs, so I expect the performance will be reasonable. -- Robert Nordier
