I compiled an SMP kernel for the L440GX board. I used the defaults in /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/GENERIC for setting up SMP. The machine boots fine with this kernel, then I ran ByteBench, and had a major system crash. One of the errors was "apic_io was stuck". Any ideas as to what is going on? Should I modify how I compile the smp kernel? (apic_io's, bus, etc) -john freebsd@bjork.neunix.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
