Hello All, Last night, I put on a Fiber Optic Transciever -> AUI converted on a 3Com Etherlink III, and connected it to an old Cisco Catalyst 1211 10baseFL acting as a FFDI DAS bridge. The switch saw the link connection, and so did the transciever. I ifconfig'd ep0 w/ a media of AUI, hoping that would work. It seemed to default to a 10base5 media type afterwards, though, and I wasn't able to pass packets to the switch. Is there something else I have to do to the ep0 device, or should that have worked?
