As a C/C++ programmer, I am awaiting the day when I understand = the OS enough to offer assistance in expanding its capabilities and user = base in the future. But until that day comes, I'll have to rely on USER = groups and correspondence with the true power users for clarification = and understanding... So, let me begin with a question. I have setup a simple DNS server = using FreeBSD. I used the instructions from the tutorial section of the = FreeBSD web site -- and I was successful with the configuration. My = next goal was to be able to Telnet to my FreeBSD box and perform some = routine get to know your NOS stuff. I can telnet there, but there is a = long delay before I recieve the login prompt. I'm sure this delay is = not normal, but Ic an't seem to find what's causing the delay. =20 Any suggestions???
