Two good sources to learn about freebsd are the FreeBSD Handbook on
the net (Go to www.freebsd.org and click the handbook link to the
left), and a book called "The Complete FreeBSD", you can buy at
http://www.freebsdmall.com, and you can also get it with a 4-cdrom set
with fbsd on it

I dont know much about my system I got it used from some dude @ the
local community school . I know its a basic P-II, 450 mhz system . 128
mgs ram , and A number nine revalution 4 agp graphix card. I dont know
anything about the what type the hard drive is and I really dont know
much about how my O.S. works ( win,98) . What I do know is that I want
a new one. I want to support the freebsd ! it sounds good to me and I
like the concept I have heard about it . My q's (though probly
answerd like 10x in your webpage ) is can I just download and install
freebsd? ? will my screen look the same ? do I need a Owner's manuel ?
I am not all that bright , but Im learning :) if you can recomed
anything that can make this transition easy"r" please by all means
tell me . otherwise I am going to hold my breath and dive in ! I will
learn this one way or another !
