I have a CMI8738 onboard sound card with my Freebsd 5.0 box. I tried to make it work. It seems the kernel recognize my sound card, but not config its IRQ correctly. I tried to build it in kernel or use kldload. The results are same. "dmesg" reveals the irq is routed to 10 while it should be 9. When I use mpg123, it says " play interrupt timeout, channel dead". The BIOS has no option to change the irq. Neither did I find any method to change it in kernel. Any suggestion to solve my problem is welcome. Thanks in advance. PS: Please cc to me cause I am not in the list now. -- edifice <warehou@sina.com> To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
