About those drivers:

1) They don't support Xorg 7.*
2) They don't support 3D acceleration
3) Even on linux, they don't support AIGLX, which is what the original post=
er=20
was looking for.

The open source r300 driver supports 1 & 2, but bring down the machine when=
=20
you enable number 3 on FreeBSD :-) =20
