However, the average user does not; in fact, most users do not even know how to activate the "Do Not Track" header (which Google's lobbyists in DC have advocated that Web sites ignore). It seems to me that The FreeBSD Project should be on the side of security, privacy, and good ethics. Just because it has received contributions of labor from Google does not mean it should not sell out to it. Just my $0.02. --Brett Glass
