I'm sorry; I was the one who directed him to FreeBSD-hackers. He's been on the FreeBSD-questions list already, and... didn't have much luck. If I mis-directed him... sorry... If I understand his question correctly, he's made his own CDROM and would like to install from it. But, when he boots from the HD, he just gets the Boot: prompt... after an appropriate amount of time, nothing happens. Seems like that would be a good question for hackers.. Why doesn't something happen?
