 From what I know you'll have to choose between cyrus and imap-uw
packages. Other packages may very well exist.

 As a side note, imap-uw provides a mailbox locking mechanism that may
greatly help you.

 Aside from this, I think you should take time to test each package to
select whatever suits you.

PS: sometime these days I should get on upgrading imap-uw to 4.6...
