Hello Doug, I have tried to use the latest version of Linux that I found at ftp.kernel.org, 2.2.13, but am having no luck with the 2940UW driver, aic7xxx. I am compiling to build an smp mode kernel, but everytime I boot this version (or older versions) I get reset and timeout loop errors. Do you have a version of the driver that works in smp mode? I am have a Redhat 6.0 system, if that helps. -Robert At 10:23 PM 12/12/99 -0500, Doug Ledford wrote: >Ruben I Safir wrote: >> >> Hello >> >> I'm trying to get this card to run on a 2.0.036 Kernel for a scanner. >> The card shows the scanner when booting, and then it's givig some >> warning message about the bios not booting or not found.
