Hi! I'm using CAM with a ASUS P2B-DS (AIC7890AB/3860) mtb, 1x4.5G Cheetah, 1x9G Cheetah and a SCSI-2 Yamaha Writer... If I start with what is currently available/visible on the net, the kernel that comes with Andrzej Bialecki boot disk works for the HD (with I know that support for cd/worm wasn't ready...) But 19980712 and 19980716 Snapshot are currently giving me a "Data-path parity error at 0x17b". I applied the latest patch set (0716) to a freshly CVsup'ed 3.0-current... and the same thing happen... I did have it working with something before (which I really don't remember nor have nowhere) 0712 but in zapped it thinking that 0712 or 0716 was still working for me. BTW I did experience both the CD and the 40MB support with this previous version of CAM! Now I'm having withdrawal symptoms... So... Anybody have any suggestions... I think the problem is in the aic7xxx.seq... Have fun (And an happy guy is applauding Justin and Kenneth!)...
