Hello,
Forgive me for asking this what might be an awkward question for
some.

Are either of the procedures for setting up and running bind in a
sandbox in FreeBSD Unleashed: Ch. 30 Part IV pg. 782 & The FreeBSD
Handbook 2nd Ed. Ch. 17 pg. 479, correct?

Using both procedures return the same error on my systems:
FBSD Unleashed procedure:
# /usr/sbin/named -u bind -g bind -t /etc/namedb/sandbox
/etc/namedb/named.conf
can't open '/etc/namedb/named.conf'
#

The FBSD Handook 2nd Ed procedure with all respective file and dir
ownerships now under u+g bind:
n# /usr/sbin/named -u bind -g bind -t /etc/namedb/sandbox
/etc/namedb/sandbox/named.conf
can't open '/etc/namedb/sandbox/named.conf'
#

Has anyone actually successfully used the procedures in either of the
aforementioned books and gotten bind set up and running in a sandbox?

Thanks for the time.
