I've run efax's program from WINE on FreeBSD. Worked just fine. I haven't learned yet of any way to have the mail program automatically invoke the efax program based on attachement mime-type like is done in Windows. I have to store the .efx file and run the efax program separately. ----- Original Message ----- From: Odhiambo Washington To: Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2001 6:17 AM Subject: Re: Reading an eFax on FreeBSD? > * Marc W [20010204 02:05]: writing on the subject 'Re: Reading an eFax on FreeBSD?' > Marc> Probably a question for the eFax people, unfortunately. Last I checked, they only had Macintosh and Winders programs. Might want to ask and see if they're willing to publish their format so some UN*X people could get on it... > > What is eFAX referring to in this case? > viewfax in the ports cannot apply here? > > Marc> > Marc> marc. > Marc> > Marc> > Marc> > Marc> > Marc> > ----------------------------- > Marc> > From: Islandman > Marc> > To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG > Marc> > Subject: Reading an eFax on FreeBSD? > Marc> > Sent: 02/03/01 14:25> > Marc> > > Marc> > > Marc> > Is it possible to read or convert a eFax document on FreeBSD? > Marc> > > Marc> > Thanks in advance! > Marc> > -- > Marc> > | Brian D.
