Interesting. I saw this behavior at a friend's place last week after he
upgraded to -0.61 (using isppp). After he re-booted the idletime disconn
started working.

I've never observed any problem using ipr. It always hangs up reliably.

Have to try a test with isppp, I guess, and see if I also see a problem.

yes, but it has no impact on the hangups. The kernel seems to ignore it
since it's not part of the IP traffic.
