Guilmette >Release: FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE amd64 >Organization: entr0py >Environment: 9.1-RELEASE amd64 >Description: The "list" and "show" sub-commands of the gpart(8) program behave quite differently and inconsistantly, depending on the exact form/format of the designator used for the device/geom of interest. Specifically: gpart show ada0 -- works just fine gpart show /dev/ada0 -- works just fine gpart list ada0 -- works just fine gpart list /dev/ada0 -- produces error "No such geom" It would be better if the "list" and "show" sub-commands of the gpart(8) program behaved consistantly with one another. Either they should both reject device designators that include a leading "/dev/" or else they should both accept this form. >How-To-Repeat: See above. >Fix: Sorry, I do not have code to fix this. I am just reporting the bug. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
