OpenSSH has been integrated into the base system in 4.0, and I am attempting to use it in place of the ssh port. My question is, what is the "proper" way to link OpenSSH against libsocks5 (from the socks5 port in /usr/ports/net/socks5)? It is a configure script option in the ssh port (/usr/ports/security/ssh), which is convenient. However, I can't find a similarly clean way to do this in the OpenSSH build procedure.
