loader_lua.efi from base/head r355346 is a good one, whereas r355347 
introduces a bug/feature incompatible with Lenovo TP E590T (20NB) 
running boot firmware 1.22.

Should I file a PR?

definitely.=20

Also make sure you do have updated firmware.

r355347 by itself does not really look like it should cause infinite =
loop on normal input, but there we would need to check what we do get =
from keypress and then we will see.

Unfortunately I do not have hw to check, so we would need to use your =
help to check what is really happening there.
Please poke me directly if you need help about constructing the printf() =
statements to extract the information.
