Everyone: I'm makinga server that makes and breaks a lot of connections using mpd. Unlike earlier versions of FreeBSD, 10.0 seems to react to every new link (which involves bringing up an "ng" pseudo-interface) by running the pccard_ether script. It also seems to try running dhclient on interfaces that don't use DHCP. I've never seen it this busy before, and all of this activity is for naught; the machine doesn't use DHCP and mpd manages all the logistics of bringing up an "ng" interface itself. Why the change and all of the useless activity? --Brett Glass
