The preferred way to send a bug report is the "send-pr" utility installed on your FreeBSD machine, which has several advantages, among them Cc: If you must use the web form for some reason, then forwarding the problem report number to the maintainer is fine for me, but I don't speak on behalf of any other port maintainer.
