I attempted to upgrade ports using portupgrade -af --batch with no success. Every time I do this, the upgrade of hal fails horribly with an undefined symbol USB_GET_REPORT_ID. I looked through the older reports and saw this error from last January, which appeared to have been fixed. I verified the removal of port libusb, and I rebuilt the kernel and world to make sure I didn't miss anything to no avail. What exactly did I miss? >How-To-Repeat: portupgrade hal ===> Cleaning for hal-0.5.11_26 ===> Vulnerability check disabled, database not found ===> Found saved configuration for hal-0.5.8.20070403_2 ===> Extracting for hal-0.5.11_26 => MD5 Checksum OK for hal-0.5.11.tar.gz. => SHA256 Checksum OK for hal-0.5.11.tar.gz. ===> Patching for hal-0.5.11_26 ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on package: libtool>=2.2 - found ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for hal-0.5.11_26 ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/python2.6 - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on executable: gmake - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on package: libtool>=2.2 - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/intltool-extract - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on shared library: polkit.2 - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on shared library: volume_id.0 - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on shared library: ck-connector.0 - found ===> hal-0.5.11_26 depends on shared library: intl - found ===> Configuring for hal-0.5.11_26 checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c -o root -g wheel checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /usr/local/bin/gmkdir -p checking for gawk... gawk checking whether gmake sets $(MAKE)... yes checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no checking for style of include used by gmake...
