I've got a Zoom 28.8 V.FC internal modem that I want to use with FreeBSD. I'm currently using a Zoom 14.4 internal without any trouble. They are both configured for COM2 (sio1) and the default IRQ. When I put the Zoom 28.8 in instead of the 14.4, it isn't identified at startup and I can't use it. The Zoom 14.4 is identified without any trouble. I called up Zoom and they sent me a chip upgrade, but that didn't make a difference. This modem works fine from DOS. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance, -Justin Seger-
