This looks to me like the "standard" non-standard power plug that is frequently used in laptops (Compaq laptops and & Apple laptops up until the end of the yo-yo power supply), as well as some desktop machines (again, especially Compaq). Okay, so it looks a little funny at this angle, but otherwise it doesn't really look all that unusual.
