https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D215957 Bug ID: 215957 Summary: graphics/opencv2: relinquish maintainership Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: mbaxter@uw.edu I volunteered to maintain this port in order to get my noob feet wet and contribute to the FreeBSD community although I don't use this software in particular. I don't quite follow the reasoning for the last revision and feel maintainership is best left to an interested user who can determine how to appropriately organize and investigate the different tracks going forward: Revision 423216 - Directory Listing=20 Added Mon Oct 3 17:47:08 2016 UTC (3 months, 1 week ago) by jbeich graphics/opencv: add suffix to make room for 3.x series To avoid confusion, the main port is to track the latest release. Whether to rename includes/libraries as well making it possible to install 2.x and 3.x side-by-side remains to be investigated. PR: 210505 (for tracking) Inspired by: PkgSrc Please set MAINTAINER in graphics/opencv2 to ports@freebsd.org. I'll find somewhere else to add my contribution to the community. My apolog= ies for the inconvenience. Thank you. Mike Baxter mbaxter@uw.edu --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
