The 2x machines contain the following: . 2 Motorola 604e RISC CPU . 1 MB of level 2 cache memory . 256 MB central memory . 1x 2GB SCSI disk, designed to serve as a boot disk and hold the OS . 6x 4GB SCSI disks, designed to hold database and other data requred by the Company . 3x SCSI host adapters, 2x of which are ultra-Wide SCSI3 adapters 40MB/s and the third a Wide SCSI 2 adapters 20MB/s . 1x 8mm VDAT tape, 12/24 GB tape capacity, to be used for back up and software installation and updates . 2x full duplex Fast Ethernet adapters 100Mbps The 2 sets of 6x 4GB disks are shared between the 2 machines using RAID 1.
