It was just a kernel build, no world. You're right, the hack didn't work completely. "/usr/src/sys/sparc64/elf_machdep.c:100:error: 'elf64_fbsd_brandnote' undeclared here (not in a function)" Dump_machdep.c did work in the build process. I'll redo the build later.
