Hello all,

Follow up to my original posts. I have backed down PHP4 using
portdowngrade one step at a time and these are the results:

number date portversion comment
     1 2005/01/31 00:35:47 4.3.10 Split the postgresql ports
into a server and a client part.
^PROBLEMS DESCRIBED IN ORIGINAL POST - MOST PHP SCRIPTS KILL APACHE HTTPD

     2  2005/01/19 16:13:55  4.3.10       Speed up unserialize() and fix
a serious performance issue.
^SAME PROBLEMS AS ORIGINAL POST - MOST PHP SCRIPTS KILL APACHE HTTPD

     3 2005/01/13 23:11:34 4.3.10 Fix compilation on ia64.
^DIFFERENT PROBLEMS BUT SCRIPTS STILL DO NOT RUN PROPERLY
I did see fatal errors in scripts that usually work:
Warning: filesize(): Stat failed for files/Array (errno=2 - No such file
or directory) in<snip>

Warning: filemtime(): Stat failed for files/Array (errno=2 - No such
file or directory) in<snip>

PHP Error code: 8
At: /xaraya-0.9.12/html/includes/xarCore.php (Line: 761) Array to string
conversion

NOTE:
Apache does not core dump and does not report the bus error but I still
cannot use this version.

     4 2005/01/10 17:00:34 4.3.10 - Fix overloading objects [1]
(bump php4 PORTREVISION)=
^SAME PROBLEMS AS ABOVE (#3)

     5 2004/12/16 11:37:23 4.3.10 Update to 4.3.10 release:
Last chance for PHP 4.3.10 from ports...
^SAME PROBLEMS AS ABOVE (#3)

     6 2004/12/06 10:01:54 4.3.9 Bump shlib number of net-snmp
and $PORTREVISION.
Back down to 4.3.9
All problems solved.
Does anyone else have the same problems?
What can I do to help fix this problem?

Rick
