I just wanted to ask your opinion about this issue. If I'm well informed, current FreeBSD SMP kernel is slower that Linux 2.4.x. Can anyone tell me just how much slower it really is? FreeBSD 5.0 will have a 'true' SMP kernel, but it has been scheduled for November. Almost 4 months waiting. Thanks!
