This is what happens: ports/security/ssh# make install USA_RESIDENT=YES ===> Extracting for ssh-1.2.27 >How-To-Repeat: During full 3.3 install from CD-ROM, include ports collection. Obtain copies of the needed sources (rsaref20.1996.tar.Z, ssh-1.2.27.tar.gz, patch-ssh-1.2.27-bsd.tty.chown), put in /usr/ports/distfiles. # cd /usr/ports/security/rsaref # make install # cd /usr/ports/security/ssh # make install USA_RESIDENT=YES >Fix: Obtain the current ssh.tar from the ports collection on FreeBSD.org and use that instead. It appears to differ from that on the CD-ROM in having FEWER patch files, so I'm not sure whether this should be considered a true fix. I was unable to find anything about this in the Errata or the bug report database. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: >> Checksum OK for ssh-1.2.27.tar.gz. >> Checksum OK for patch-ssh-1.2.27-bsd.tty.chown. ===> ssh-1.2.27 depends on file: /nonexistent - not found ===> Verifying extract for /nonexistent in /usr/ports/security/rsaref ===> Returning to build of ssh-1.2.27 ===> ssh-1.2.27 depends on shared library: rsaref.2 - found ===> Patching for ssh-1.2.27 ===> Applying distribution patches for ssh-1.2.27 ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for ssh-1.2.27 Ignoring previously applied (or reversed) patch. 1 out of 1 hunks ignored--saving rejects to configure.rej *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. ports/security/ssh# To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
