I just found out that the market is focusing on Intel's IA64 ((4-16)-way nodes) than the Athlon processer. Kinda nice which is also good if you have an efficient and accurate mathlib. Hmmm, FreeBSD was headed in this direction (Projects) and it seems like a good place to be in 2001. The operating system that can handle 64GB RAM, 8-16 IA64 processors, and Ultra160/320 in one box might get that winning ticket. God Bless FreeBSD!, Ken _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
