This will be an architectural discussion of the direction of the freebsd kernel and userland towards 5.0-RELEASE. As the head developer I would like to be able to represent the sparc64 port and give a 5 minute blurb about the status and roadmap. What I need exactly is $300 USD to cover my airfare from Toronto to San Francisco, for 2 days in mid-february (this according to yahoo travel). If you or your company have a vested interest in freebsd/sparc64, please consider sponsoring me to attend this meeting. I apologize in advance if you feel this kind of solicitation is inappropriate.
