Hi,

I am using a DELL PowerEdge R515 together with a PowerVault TL2000. The
changer isn't found at boot, but it is found after issuing 'camcontrol
rescan x:x:1' where x:x:0 is the tape drive (IBM ULT3580-HH). The system
is a recent 8.2.

I tried
hint.ch.0.at="scbus0"
hint.ch.0.target="0"
hint.ch.0.unit="1"
but it didn't work.

Is there an option to get it recognized at boot (without a rescan)?

many thanks,
Hendrik
