Others might not want them because of all the "bloat" complaints (I'm *not* complaining about bloat). I'd accept personal responsiblity at my site for maintaining the choked off parts. Would it be possible to add a variable to the make files so that some of this stuff would be ignored on build and install? Well, I know it's logically possible, I mean politically possible or desireable? ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@eng.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 9120 Edmonston Ct #302 | Greenbelt, MD 20770 | I run Journey2 and picnic, both FreeBSD (301) 220-2114 | version 3.0 current -- and great FUN! ----------------------------+-----------------------------------------------
