Open with your favorite text-editor in your $HOME (eg. /home/mathon) the file
.profile, look there at the syntax used for the path, and add your other
entries.

If you have no "preferred text-editor" yet try ee; it is nice for beginners.
Later you can be a part of the "holy war" between vi, emacs and the rest of the
world :)
