Hi, I have just installed the GNU C++ Compiler 2.8.1 from the Ports collection (Cd-Rom). I realise that the original version that came with the operating system installed was version 2.7. After installation, do I have to do anything to let the new version take effect ? That means to allow the new version of the compiler will be used instead of the older version. Will appreciated some guidance here. Thanks. Regards, Seng Yip To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
