Yes, this behavior is observed in the shell. For example in the Nano editor= the keys work correctly.=20 As for the keyboard, it is the built-in keyboard of an old Acer Aspire V5-4= 71PG laptop. The same error is also present when connecting an external USB keyboard. Also tested under FreeBSD 12.4 and FreeBSD 13.1, - same error. Also tested under Dragonfly BSD 6.2 and Dragonfly BSD 6.4, - no error, keys work correctly including the delete key. I will test FreeBSD 14.0-RC2 today or tomorrow.
