I got ahold of an old Hauppage WinTV card and configured my kernel as device bktr0 controller iicbus0 controller iicbb0 controller smbus0 but on booting my 3.1 kernel page faults, I get as far as bktr0: <BrookTree 848> rev 0x11 int a irq 10 on pci0.13.0 bti2c0: <bt848 Hard/Soft I2C controller> iicbb0: <I2C generic bit-banging driver> on bti2c0 iicbus0: <Philips I2C bus> on iicbb0 master-only smbus0: <System Management Bus> on bti2c0 and then the page fault. The machine is a PII Micron machine. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot this... -- Denis To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
