Dunno if he reads this list. bde does maintain sio, for the most part. I also maintain the pci modem part of sio and am looking at one of the PRs right now which adds support for simple multiport serial ports attached to a pci bus (at bde's prodding). bde has some pending changes to sio as well in his queue.
