Actually, it would. :) On a box where I had ported MySQL, I reinstalled the
3.23.52 client, and the error disappeared (I had the same error pop up from
within a Perl script). Probably the cleanest solution. Before that, I had
put a symbolic link to /usr/lib. That worked too.
